Selected dance and multimedia works by Tomas Danielis, including Landscapes, Jade, and Back to Myself, exploring presence, perception, and human connection.

2011

Landscapes is a multimedia performance created in collaboration with Britta Pudelko, Stefan Schmid, Stefan Röhrle, Ulrich Troyer, and Ulrich Reiterer. Combining dance, light, and video art, the work explores the parallel existence of two people in extreme proximity who never physically meet. Through layered visual and performative environments, Landscapes unfolds as a poetic portrait of distance, intimacy, and perception.

Jade premiered at the SprungBrett Festival in Graz. Conceived as a formally strong contemporary dance performance, the work focused on physical precision and presence, touching on fundamental questions of humanity through movement and compositional clarity.

Back to Myself was developed as a short research solo, functioning as a laboratory for testing movement approaches, performative states, and conceptual directions that later informed subsequent productions.
