Macbeth was a commission by the Slovak National Theatre, for which Tomáš Danielis created the choreography for the opera production in 2003. Working within the operatic framework, Danielis developed movement material that supported the dramatic structure and psychological tension of the work, contributing a contemporary physical dimension to the operatic staging.
